Meckey brings over 25 years of experience leading healthcare technology, software, and technology-enabled services organizations through growth, innovation, and operational transformation. He previously served as President of WestCX, part of West Technology Group, a provider of AI-native communication solutions for regulated industries. While at WestCX, Meckey led the integration of TeleVox and Mosaicx, launched WestCX Orchestrate™, an AI-native customer engagement platform, and guided the business through its successful sale to Harris Healthcare.

As healthcare organizations face increasing financial pressure, administrative complexity, and the need to modernize fragmented technology environments, FinThrive is focused on advancing its integrated, end-to-end revenue cycle management platform. The company’s broad technology capabilities, deep healthcare expertise, and established customer relationships are designed to help providers simplify operations, improve financial performance, and strive to realize greater value from automation, data, and artificial intelligence.

“I joined FinThrive because I believe in its mission and the opportunity ahead,” said Meckey. “Providers are being asked to do more with less, and FinThrive is well positioned to help them. I’m excited to work closely with our team and our customers to accelerate innovation, harness the potential of AI and automation, and translate our capabilities into measurable results. Ultimately, our role is not simply to deliver technology, but to help customers achieve better outcomes.”

Meckey’s prior roles also include Chief Executive Officer of UpHealth, a digital health solutions company, and Executive Vice President and Head of Healthcare at EXLService Holdings, where he led its transformation into a technology-enabled services business. Meckey also spent 14 years at Optum, ultimately serving as President of Optum Global Solutions, where he oversaw a global operations and technology services organization of more than 35,000 employees across the United States, India, the Philippines and Brazil. Earlier in his career, he served as a pilot and officer in the U.S. Navy. Meckey holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Goel is retiring after more than five years leading FinThrive as President and Chief Executive Officer and over 40 years of successful contributions to healthcare information technology. During his tenure at FinThrive, he helped advance the company’s vision of delivering an integrated, end-to-end RCM technology platform to healthcare organizations. He will continue to serve on FinThrive’s Board of Directors and work closely with Meckey to ensure a seamless transition.

“It has been a privilege to lead FinThrive for more than five years and to work alongside our talented colleagues and customers,” said Goel. “I remain confident in our vision and the growing opportunity to help healthcare organizations consolidate technology, improve efficiency, and strengthen financial performance. Sam brings deep healthcare experience, a strong operating track record, and a commitment to innovation and customer outcomes. I am confident he is well positioned to lead FinThrive forward.”

“Sam is an accomplished healthcare technology leader with a proven ability to drive operational transformation, accelerate innovation, and deliver results for customers,” said Paul Huber, Partner and Managing Director at Clearlake. “His experience leading complex organizations at Optum and EXL, combined with his recent work advancing AI-enabled solutions at WestCX, makes him well suited to lead FinThrive’s next chapter. We see significant opportunity to build on FinThrive’s integrated platform, deepen customer partnerships, and drive sustainable growth. We also thank Hemant for his leadership and contributions to the Company.”
