Group 1001 Companies Secure $120,000 for Habitat for Humanity of Boone County Through Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis Match

Group 1001 Insurance, an integrated, technology-driven financial services and insurance group, today announced $120,000 in funding for Habitat for Humanity of Boone County, secured by two of its companies through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis’ Community Multiplier – Member Match program.

Group 1001 companies Delaware Life Insurance Company and Clear Spring Life and Annuity Company each committed $15,000 through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank Indianapolis) Community Multiplier – Member Match program, with FHLBank Indianapolis contributing $45,000 toward each of the two grants.

Community Multiplier – Member Match is a matching grant program available to financial institution members of FHLBank Indianapolis. The program offers grants of up to $60,000 each with a minimum 25% matching commitment from the member financial institution to support specific affordable housing initiatives.

The funding will directly support Habitat for Humanity of Boone County’s homeownership program, helping provide a local family with access to safe, affordable homeownership. This investment will create greater stability and opportunity for a family while strengthening the Boone County community for years to come.

“Every summer, employees volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Boone County through our 1001 Hours of Impact program, from raising walls in our headquarters parking lot to helping on local build sites,” said Jeff McGlaun, Treasurer of Group 1001. “We’ve seen firsthand what a safe, stable home means to a family, and this funding extends our commitment to our local communities beyond the hours our employees give.”

“This generous investment is about so much more than building a house – it’s about helping a family build a stronger, more stable future,” said Darbi Williams, Resource Development Coordinator at Habitat for Humanity of Boone County. “We are incredibly grateful to Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis, Group 1001, Delaware Life Insurance Company, and Clear Spring Life and Annuity Company for coming alongside Habitat for Humanity of Boone County and investing in the families and communities we serve. Together, we’re building more than houses; we’re building hope, stability, and opportunity right here in Boone County.”
