LAS VEGAS, Sept. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Asia Broadband Inc. (OTC: AABB) (“AABB” or the “Company”) today issued its End-of-Summer Corporate Update highlighting continued momentum across its mining operations, exploration programs, proprietary rGO technology, precious metals holdings, digital asset ecosystem and capital initiatives.
Following a highly productive summer that included record production results and continued advancement of several major corporate initiatives, AABB enters the fall season with significant operational momentum and expects the final months of 2026 to be an active period of development, execution and milestone achievement.
AABB reported record Q2 production revenue of approximately $14.9 million, exceeding the Company’s total production revenue for all of 2025. Management has projected approximately $30 million in production revenue for 2026, demonstrating the accelerating growth of the Company’s core precious metals operations.
Picachos IV Phase 2 Drilling Delivers Strong Early Results
AABB has made substantial progress on its 15,000-meter Phase 2 exploration and drilling program at the Picachos IV property, with 38 drill holes totaling approximately 3,800 meters completed to date. The current program is testing five near-mine target areas as the Company works to further define mineralized structures, test the continuity of previously identified zones and evaluate opportunities to expand the known mineralized footprint at Picachos IV.
The integration of AABB’s recently licensed AI-assisted exploration and mine optimization technology has significantly accelerated the Company’s geological evaluation and drill-targeting process. By rapidly analyzing and integrating geological, drilling, assay, structural and other technical data, the technology has allowed the exploration team to refine targets more efficiently and make faster data-driven decisions as drilling progresses. Management believes the use of AI technology is already producing meaningful benefits within the Phase 2 program, contributing to strong early drilling results and improved targeting of prospective high-grade mineralized zones.
Finalized assay results generated by the Company’s in-house laboratory have returned several encouraging high-grade gold intersections from the current drilling program. Among the strongest results received to date, one drill hole intersected 9.04 grams per tonne gold over 16.0 meters, including 12.32 grams per tonne gold over 8.0 meters. Management believes this intersection provides important additional evidence of the continuity of the high-grade shoot within the modeled mineralized zone and further supports both the Company’s geological targeting strategy and the application of AI-assisted analysis at Picachos IV.
With approximately 25% of the planned 15,000-meter program now completed, drilling remains active across the five target areas while geological interpretation, AI-assisted analysis and assay evaluation continue. The Company expects the growing Phase 2 drill database to further refine its understanding of the mineralized structures and assist in identifying additional high-priority targets as the program advances.
AABB intends to provide shareholders with additional Picachos IV drilling and assay results as material milestones are achieved.
La Calabasa Stockpile Definitive Agreement Completed
AABB has completed the previously announced La Calabasa gold and silver ore stockpile transaction, with the parties having executed a definitive long-term processing and production agreement. All previously identified matters involving property boundaries and title verification have been fully resolved, allowing the Company to advance the La Calabasa project into its next operational phase.
Structured similarly to AABB’s original Las Jimenez stockpile agreement, the definitive agreement provides the Company with exclusive rights to purchase and process ore from the large-scale La Calabasa stockpile at an economically viable price point.
As previously announced, the estimated gold and silver ore value associated with La Calabasa is expected to exceed $1 billion and surpass the estimated value of the Company’s original Las Jimenez stockpile agreement, positioning La Calabasa as one of the most significant high-yield asset additions in AABB’s history.
The Company is now focused on advancing processing planning, material evaluation and the sequencing of production activities associated with La Calabasa as AABB continues expanding precious metals production through its processing operations in Jalisco, Mexico.
AABB intends to provide additional information regarding La Calabasa as processing activities advance and material production and economic milestones are achieved.
rGO Technology Positioned for Broader Commercialization
AABB continues to view its proprietary rGO gold recovery technology as an important component of the Company’s longer-term growth strategy. The commercialization strategy includes both deployment of rGO technology within AABB’s own processing operations and the pursuit of licensing opportunities with third-party mining companies.
The Company’s previously announced third-party licensing initiative remains an important component of this strategy, and AABB intends to provide additional information when discussions or agreements reach material milestones appropriate for public disclosure.
Management believes the successful expansion of rGO beyond AABB’s internal operations could create an additional commercialization channel for the Company’s proprietary technology while strengthening its position within the precious metals processing sector.
GoldAxis Next-Generation Infrastructure and Off-Ramp Development
Following the Company’s August 28, 2026, announcement for token holders to temporarily transfer their digital assets to another wallet, AABB is advancing the transition of the GoldAxis Wallet to a new technology and service infrastructure.
The Company is actively evaluating and negotiating with prospective technology and service providers as part of the GoldAxis infrastructure transition. The selection process is progressing, and AABB expects to provide an implementation timeline once a final provider has been secured.
Concurrently, the Company is evaluating providers with the technical, regulatory and operational capabilities required to develop and implement an off-ramp component, which would provide GoldAxis users with an efficient pathway to convert supported digital assets into fiat currency.
AABB remains committed to the continued development of its precious-metals-backed digital asset ecosystem, including the AABBG gold-backed token and AABBS silver-backed token.
For security and competitive reasons, the Company will not publicly disclose sensitive cybersecurity architecture, specific vulnerabilities, key-management infrastructure, prospective provider identities or other technical information that could compromise the platform or ongoing negotiations.
Precious Metals Holdings and Share Repurchase Program
AABB continues to maintain substantial physical gold and silver holdings as part of the Company’s precious-metals-backed asset strategy.
The Company’s previously authorized $12 million share repurchase program has also advanced substantially. As of June 30, 2026, approximately $11.8 million had been deployed toward common share repurchases, representing more than 98% of the total authorized program. Additionally, discussions are currently ongoing to possibly expand the share repurchase program.
The substantial capital committed to the program reflects AABB’s continued commitment to enhancing long-term shareholder value and management’s confidence in the Company’s underlying assets, expanding mining operations and long-term growth strategy.
AABB will continue to evaluate capital allocation opportunities while balancing shareholder-focused initiatives with continued investment in mining production, exploration, technology development and strategic growth opportunities.
Building Momentum Into the Fall
With record production revenue, active drilling and strong early assay results at Picachos IV, the accelerating application of AI-assisted exploration technology, completion of the definitive La Calabasa stockpile agreement, continued development of proprietary rGO technology and the transition toward next-generation GoldAxis infrastructure, AABB believes it enters the fall of 2026 positioned for another active period of growth and execution.
Management expects the coming months to be important for advancing several previously announced initiatives and intends to provide shareholders with continued milestone-based updates as measurable progress is achieved.
At the same time, AABB will continue protecting information involving physical asset security, cybersecurity, proprietary technology, confidential negotiations and commercially sensitive matters.
The Company’s objective is straightforward – provide shareholders with greater visibility into measurable progress without compromising the assets, technology and negotiations being developed to create long-term value.
Chris Torres, President and CEO of Asia Broadband, stated:
“It has been an extremely active summer for AABB, and we are entering the fall with tremendous momentum across multiple areas of the Company.
Our mining operations are expanding, production revenues have reached record levels, Picachos IV drilling is underway with strong early results, and our use of AI-assisted exploration technology is accelerating the way we analyze data and identify high-priority targets. We have also completed the definitive agreement for the La Calabasa stockpile processing initiative, rGO remains an important component of our technology strategy, and we are taking major steps toward the next generation of our GoldAxis digital asset infrastructure.
We expect a strong fall season for AABB. Our focus is execution, completing meaningful milestones and continuing to build the operational foundation for an even stronger 2027.
As these initiatives advance, shareholders can expect continued updates as material milestones are achieved.”
