Project Biohacking Launches Free BPC-157 and TB-500 Dosage Calculators for Research Use

Free, browser-based calculators convert a stated BPC-157 or TB-500 dose into exact insulin syringe units for research use. No account required. Verified July 2026.

Frisco, TX (PRUnderground) July 29th, 2026

Project Biohacking today announced the launch of the Project Biohacking BPC-157 Dosage Calculator and the Project Biohacking TB-500 Dosage Calculator, two free, browser-based tools that convert a stated dose into an exact, measurable syringe draw. Both tools are available now, require no account, and run in any modern web browser.

The launch follows the FDA Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee meeting held July 23 and 24, 2026 at the agency’s White Oak campus, where the committee reviewed seven peptides for potential inclusion on the Section 503A Bulk Drug Substances List. The committee recommended six, including BPC-157 at 8-6-1 for ulcerative colitis and TB-500 at 8-6-1 for wound healing. Free base and acetate forms were voted separately, with identical tallies for every substance.

“A committee recommendation is not a rule change, and the coverage has been collapsing three separate legal events into one,” said Jeff Nunn, founder of Project Biohacking. “Removal from Category 2 in April was not legalization. The July recommendation is non-binding. Only placement on the 503A Bulks List after notice-and-comment rulemaking makes compounding lawful, and that process has not started.”

Project Biohacking notes that the advisory committee process concerns compounded prescription preparations dispensed by licensed pharmacies under Section 503A. Research peptides sold for laboratory use are a separate channel governed by different rules, and the committee vote does not change the research-use-only status of material sold through that channel.

Project Biohacking BPC-157 Dosage Calculator

The Project Biohacking BPC-157 Dosage Calculator takes the vial size in milligrams, the reconstitution water volume in milliliters, and a target dose in micrograms, then returns the solution concentration in micrograms per milliliter and the exact number of units to draw on an insulin syringe. Available features include:

  • Vial-size presets with custom value entry
  • Bacteriostatic water volume presets of 1 ml, 2 ml and 3 ml, with custom entry
  • Optional weight-based input in micrograms per kilogram
  • Syringe visualization that adapts to 0.3 ml, 0.5 ml and 1 ml insulin syringes
  • Instant recalculation as inputs change

Project Biohacking TB-500 Dosage Calculator

The Project Biohacking TB-500 Dosage Calculator applies the same conversion logic to TB-500, returning concentration and syringe units from vial size, reconstitution volume and target dose. Both calculators convert an existing dose target into a volume. Neither recommends a dose.

About the Project Biohacking Platform

Project Biohacking publishes peptide education, free peptide dosing calculators, independent peptide vendor reviews, and analysis of third-party testing and certificate of analysis documentation for research peptides. The platform covers reconstitution math, purity verification, compounding pharmacy rules and federal peptide policy, and applies a documented review methodology to the research peptide suppliers it rates. Both new calculators join the Project Biohacking Peptide Calculator, the Project Biohacking Peptide Calculator for Pets and the Project Biohacking Vendor Directory.

Project Biohacking presents both calculators for informational and research-use reference only. The built-in disclaimer states that they are not medical advice, are not prescription tools, and that users should independently verify all calculations and product information before use. Research compounds discussed are sold for laboratory research purposes only and are not approved for human or veterinary use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Project Biohacking BPC-157 and TB-500 Dosage Calculators free? Yes. Both are free to use, run in any modern web browser, and do not require an account or a download.

Did the July 2026 advisory committee vote make BPC-157 or TB-500 legal to compound? No. The Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee makes a non-binding recommendation. The FDA decides whether to accept, modify or decline it, and placement on the 503A Bulks List requires notice-and-comment rulemaking that has not begun.

What do the Project Biohacking dosage calculators actually calculate? Each calculator takes a vial size, a reconstitution water volume and a target dose, then returns the solution concentration and the exact number of units to draw on an insulin syringe. They convert a stated dose into a volume and do not recommend doses.

Does Project Biohacking sell peptides? No. Project Biohacking publishes peptide education, dosing calculators and independent vendor reviews covering third-party testing, certificate of analysis documentation and purity verification. It does not sell research compounds.
