Church of the Redeemer Invites the Community to Experience Easter Week Celebrations

Gaithersburg, Maryland — Church of the Redeemer invites individuals and families throughout the region to participate in a week of Easter celebrations designed to reflect on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. From special presentations and Good Friday services to Easter Sunday worship gatherings, the church welcomes the community to experience the hope, peace, and victory found in Christ.
The week’s events begin with a special Easter presentation titled “The Story of Jesus: He Called My Name,” taking place at the Gaithersburg Campus, located at 19425 Woodfield Road in Gaithersburg, Maryland, from March 31 through April 5. This immersive presentation brings the story of Jesus to life and invites guests to encounter the message of the gospel in a meaningful and memorable way.
Performances will be held on Tuesday, March 31; Wednesday, April 1; and Thursday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. Additional presentations will take place on Friday, April 3 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 4 at 1:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. American Sign Language interpretation will be available during the Saturday, April 4 at 1:00 p.m. presentation, and Spanish translation will be offered during the Saturday 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. presentations. Children’s programming will also be available for birth through 3rd grade during the presentations.
The church will also host Good Friday Communion services on Friday, April 3 at noon at both the Gaithersburg Campus and the Frederick Campus, providing a time for reflection and remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice. Childcare will be available for children from birth through age three during these services.
Easter Sunday worship services will take place on April 5 across multiple Redeemer locations. Services at the Frederick Campus will be held at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 1:00 p.m., while the Clarksburg Campus will host a service at 10:00 a.m. These gatherings will feature worship and a message celebrating the hope and new life made possible through the resurrection of Jesus. Children’s services will be available for birth through 5th grade during Easter Sunday services.
Church leaders invite members of the community to bring friends and family to share in the celebration.
