ISG to Study AWS Ecosystem Partners

Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study examining AWS ecosystem partners helping enterprises advance AI-enabled cloud transformation.

The study results will be published in a series of comprehensive ISG Provider Lens® reports, called AWS Ecosystem Partners, scheduled to be released in October 2026. The reports will cover companies offering AWS services for consulting, migration, managed operations, data lifecycle management and AI-powered business transformation, with a separate focus on public sector technology services in Brazil.

Enterprise buyers will be able to use the report’s insights to evaluate their current vendor relationships, identify potential new engagements and compare available offerings. ISG advisors will use the research to guide clients through increasingly complex transformation and platform investment decisions.

The AWS partner ecosystem is entering a new phase as enterprises move from foundational generative AI to governed, production-grade agentic AI. Companies are seeking partners that can help them build secure, compliant and scalable AI-enabled platforms while modernizing data, workloads and operations on AWS. Digital sovereignty has also become a higher priority, especially as enterprises face stricter regional requirements for data residency, regulatory compliance and operational control.

“Enterprises are asking AWS partners to help turn AI ambitions into reliable business operations,” said Heiko Henkes, ISG managing director and principal analyst. “To help clients build trusted platforms that can scale across industries and regions, providers are combining cloud engineering, AI expertise and governance capabilities.”

ISG has distributed surveys to more than 200 AWS ecosystem providers. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, the research team will produce five quadrants representing the AWS ecosystem services the typical enterprise is buying, based on ISG’s experience working with its clients. The five quadrants are:

  • AWS Professional Services, evaluating providers offering consulting and migration services that support business and IT transformation on AWS. These providers help clients define cloud strategies, build business cases and modernize applications and architectures.

  • AWS Managed Services, assessing providers that operate, secure and optimize AWS-based public cloud and multicloud environments. These providers are evaluated on their ability to use automation, AI operations and cost governance to improve reliability and performance.

  • AWS Data Lifecycle Management Services, covering providers that help organizations integrate, process, govern and derive value from enterprise data on AWS. These providers support data sovereignty, compliance and AI-ready data pipelines across regions and industries.

  • AI-powered Business Transformation with AWS, evaluating providers that combine generative AI, agentic systems and AWS-native services to support enterprise-wide transformation. These providers deliver services from strategy and design through deployment, governance and lifecycle management.

  • AWS Brazil Public Sector — Technology Services, assessing providers that support Brazilian public sector organizations using AWS. These providers help government, education, healthcare and public finance institutions modernize legacy systems, manage workloads and strengthen resilience.

Geographically focused reports from the study will cover the global AWS ecosystem and examine products and services available in Asia Pacific, Brazil, Germany, the U.K. and the U.S. ISG analysts Frank Heuer (Germany and U.K.), Dr. Tapati Bandopadhyay (U.S.), Sameen Mohammed Siddique (U.S.), Srinivasan P N (Asia Pacific) and Adriana Frantz (Brazil) will serve as authors of the reports.

A list of identified providers and vendors and further details on the study are available in this digital brochure. Companies not listed as AWS ecosystem service providers can contact ISG and ask to be included in the study.

All 2026 ISG Provider Lens evaluations feature expanded customer experience (CX) data capturing real-world enterprise feedback on specific provider services and solutions, based on ISG’s continuous CX research.
