ŌURA on Pace to Surpass Five Million Paid Members This Quarter, Earns Spot on Annual CNBC Disruptor 50 List for Fourth Consecutive Year

ŌURA, maker of the world’s leading smart ring, Oura Ring, was ranked 14th by CNBC on its annual Disruptor 50 list, marking Oura’s fourth consecutive year of recognition and underscoring its category leadership. In tandem, the company announced record growth across key business metrics:

  • Oura is on pace to surpass five million paid members this quarter, up 4x over the past two years

  • Over 80 percent of Oura Members renew their membership after the first year, highlighting industry-leading retention

  • Oura Ring is now available at over 4,600 retail locations globally

  • Oura partners with over 1,200 leading organizations across health, wellness, and commercial brands

  • Oura drove more than 4x growth in total revenue over the past two fiscal years and invested gross profit back into the business

“We’ve earned the trust of millions of people around the world to help them understand some of their most personal health signals, including sleep, stress, recovery, women’s health, activity, metabolic health and more,” said Tom Hale, chief executive officer, Oura. “That trust drives us to keep expanding the ways we support our members through continued innovation, from strategic partnerships and investments in AI to more predictive health insights and personalized guidance. We’ve evolved beyond tracking to deliver actionable health intelligence that helps people better understand their bodies and make more informed decisions for their long-term health.”

“Oura’s continued growth, especially at this scale, not only highlights the strength and durability of our business, but also the size of the preventative health market we are competing for,” added David Shuman, chairman of Oura board of directors. “Our momentum is a result of the significant investments we’ve made to expand the capabilities of a world-class product, our pursuit of relentless technological advancements, and an unwavering focus on delivering meaningful health insights for each of our nearly five million members.”

The CNBC Disruptor 50 recognizes companies that are building lasting change and reshaping industries through innovation, measurable impact, and long-term vision. Oura’s inclusion in the list for the fourth year in a row demonstrates sustained growth over time, redefining what personal health looks like.

A Global, Trusted Leader in Proactive Health

As Oura continues to scale globally, the company now serves customers in 20 languages, underscoring growing demand for a more personalized, preventative approach to health. That momentum is especially strong in women’s health, where Oura has expanded support across the reproductive journey with new capabilities in hormonal birth control, menopause, cycle tracking, fertility, and pregnancy—building a broad portfolio of clinically grounded features. Today, women are turning to Oura in increasing numbers to better understand their bodies, with more than 26 million cycles tracked and more than 350,000 pregnancies logged to date—signals of both product adoption and the growing role Oura is playing as a daily health companion across life stages.

As the company expands across consumer health, healthcare, and enterprise partnerships, it has strengthened its trust infrastructure through recent security accreditations, including SOC 2 and HITRUST covering the Oura App, reinforcing that its growth is matched by rigorous standards for protecting sensitive health data. Together, these milestones position Oura as a more credible long-term partner for members, healthcare organizations, and enterprise customers alike as it continues to scale globally.

Oura’s 1,200+ partners, spanning health, wellness and commercial brands, expand access and utility of Oura Ring, and reflect its growing popularity among everyone from elite athletes to everyday users. So far this year, Oura has been selected as the Official Wearable of Team USA and the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games, Team Finland, and U.S. Soccer. Most recently, Oura was named an Official Sponsor and Wearable Fitness Device Partner of the U.S. Open, U.S. Tennis Association (USTA), and USTA Coaching.

This month, Oura also announced a joint research program with the Department of Health–Abu Dhabi. The partnership aims to study how continuous wearable data can advance preventive health using Oura’s scientific capabilities and its real-time, continuous insights across key health indicators supporting global preventative health models, as well as members’ long-term health. For example, 57 percent of U.S. Oura Members report living with at least one chronic condition; of those, 80 percent report that they refer to their Oura data to help inform decisions related to their health.

A Vision for Clinically Grounded, Privacy-First AI

Oura employs a sophisticated approach to AI. The Oura platform transforms longitudinal physiological data into predictive insights and personalized guidance through a proprietary health model, individualized member baselines, and features powered by generative AI. These models power a range of capabilities, including Fertile Window, which predicts a member’s fertile days; Symptom Radar, which helps alert members to early signs of strain in their body; and the Blood Pressure Profile Study, an IRB-approved study in Oura Labs that allows eligible members to contribute to research aimed at helping Oura develop a software feature intended to identify hidden hypertension risk. Oura’s vision is oriented around a privacy-first, edge-oriented infrastructure aligned with applicable data protection standards, including HIPAA and GDPR.

With the launch of its owned-and-operated women’s health large language model (LLM), Oura introduced a clinically informed, rigorously vetted AI tool—with a continued commitment to member privacy and transparency. Oura processes personal data close to its source whenever possible, running algorithms on-device to enable always-on, low-latency sensing and inference.

Since 2013, Oura has launched four generations of hardware and released dozens of unique health-enhancing features, averaging three to four new features or integrations per quarter since the launch of its membership in 2021. The company has over 1,200 employees globally and offices in San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Helsinki, Oulu, and London.

In the past year, Oura has also been recognized for excellence in product, design, and marketing with Oura Ring 4 being named one of the Best Inventions of 2025 by TIME.
